Meet Cailin, your facilitator and founder of The Equine Teacher. She’s owned horses, studied equine bodywork, and has ridden all over the globe. She also has eight years of experience in a tightly regulated industry and Honours in Biochemistry, creating a foundation of safety and evidence-based, science-backed methods.

Her “aha!” moment came when working with Tigger, a horse who was quite intimidating. During a particularly stressful moment where she was fumbling with a halter, she decided to reset; she paused, took a big breath and let it out slowly. At the exact same moment, Tigger sighed with her. Even the instructor noticed - “I don’t know what you did, but he just calmed down”.

That was the moment she understood just how connected we were -down to our breathing - with horses. So, The Equine Teacher was born. A chance for people to challenge themselves, have their own breakthrough, and walk away being better for it.
